There appears to have been a bit of confusion recently as to whether or not the highly anticipated L.A. Noire game would be released for the PC, after the ESRB listed a PC version on their website. However, Rockstar has since said that it has no plans for PC / Mac versions of the game.
According to a recent article over at thegamerbuzz.com by Benjamin Garza, the PC listing has since been removed from the ESRB website. When the guys at theGamerBuzz spoke to a Rockstar representative recently, the rep simply stated that there are no plans for PC or Mac versions at this time.
‘At this time’ could well mean that PC and Mac gamers may just see the L.A. Noire game released for their platforms at a later date, but for now I wouldn’t hold your breath. The Entertainment Software Rating Board has given the L.A. Noire game a mature rating for blood and gore among other things.
In other news, Rockstar Games recently revealed more details on the new Social Club feature of its L.A. Noire game, which enables players to ‘Ask the Community’ during the times that Cole Phelps — the game’s main character — is interviewing both suspects and witnesses.
Were you hoping to see the L.A. Noire game released for PC or Mac?
