L.A. Noire: Rockstar Pass / DLC arrives – download now

We have some rather exciting news now for those of you that went out and purchased the hugely popular L.A. Noire game a couple of weeks ago, as we’ve just heard that the much-anticipated Rockstar Pass has now arrived and is all ready to be downloaded.

Up until now Rockstar Games has kept rather tight-lipped about the Rockstar Pass, which as Tamoor Hussain over at computerandvideogames.com recently noted, provides players with access to 7 different pieces of newly released downloadable content, as well as forthcoming DLC.

Gamers in Europe and North America are able to purchase the Rockstar Pass as from today and for a limited amount of time, they will be able to get it for 800 Microsoft Points on the Xbox 360 and $10.00 on the PlayStation 3. After the limited period, the Pass will be 960 MS Points / $12.00.

Once gamers have purchased the Rockstar Pass, it enables them to download all the previously announced DLC for free. This includes two detective suits, four unique cases — which will include both PlayStation 3 trophies and Xbox 360 achievements — and a collectible challenge.

Both The Badge Pursuit Challenge ($2.00 / 160 Microsoft Points) and the Broderick / Sharpshooter detective suits ($1.00 / 80 Microsoft Points) are available as from today, as are the Naked City Vice Case and the Slip of the Tongue Traffic Case ($4.00 / 320 Microsoft Points).

Two new cases will also be available in the future: the Nicholson Electroplating Arson Case, which is due to arrive on June 21st and the Reefer Madness Vice Case, which should be released on July 12th. You can read more about the DLC and Rockstar Pass via the CVG website.
