Konami E3 2011 site – explains transfarring

Konami recently launched their E3 2011 mini site, yesterday whilst browsing the site we noticed something which Konami are calling TRANSFARRING (here), today we will introduce you to this new idea.

According to Konami TRANSFARRING will allow you to progress through a game regardless of whether you are at home playing on your console or on the go with a handheld device, exactly what games will boast this new feature is being kept quiet at the moment, but we expect to hear a little more at E3 this week.

Imagine being able to continue your PES season whilst commuting to and from work and then getting home and recommencing from where you left off, we are sure that this will attract many gamers and may even push handheld console sales higher.

We wonder whether this new feature will be something offered by the Nintendo 3DS and the upcoming ‘Project Cafe’ console, or perhaps the Sony NGP (aka Sony Vita) and PS3, we would have thought that it would rely heavily on cloud storage and internet connectivity to allow you to access up-to-date game saves seamlessly, what do you think about TRANSFARRING? Does it interest you?
