Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix secret gameplay

We have some more information on Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix for you now, the upcoming game from Square-Enix that remasters and mixes together Final Mix and Re:Chain of Memories into one game that is exclusive to the PS3. It’s out in Japan this month and we now have some secret unseen footage of the game for you to enjoy.

You probably already know this, but Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix isn’t going to be released in Europe and America until the end of 2013, which is somewhat disappointing. Having said that, Square-Enix need to convert the game entirely into English, so it is understandable from that point of view.

The only positive thing about a Japanese release first is that we can now bring you all sorts of early footage from the game, or in this case, footage that hasn’t even been released officially yet. Leak specialists AllGamesBeta have dropped this latest trailer of the game, appearing to show off some cut scenes from the Japanese version.

Considering that scenes from the game were once featured on the Gameboy Advance and PS2, we have to say that the boost in graphics for the PS3 remaster are looking fantastic. The director for the game is Tetsuya Nomura, who is also the same person that is thought to be overseeing development on the missing, but still highly anticipated Final Fantasy Versus XIII title for the PS3.

We’re still waiting for a Kingdom Hearts game on the PS Vita though and given Square-Enix’ infamous reputation for taking their time, it looks like the wait is going to be a long and painful one. Check out the new footage above and let us know if you are tempted to import this, or if you’re happy to wait until an English version is out later on this year.
