Kinect Launch: Deals and Midnight Store Opening List

Microsoft’s Kinect for the Xbox 360 is released on November 4th, tomorrow, and a number of stores will be opening at midnight for the occasion. This certainly shows how much of a big deal this release is – just hope that these stores have enough stock to handle the demand?

Some of the stores opening at midnight will have a few surprises in store for some lucky gamers, so if you did not have any plans to go to Toys R Us, GamesStop or other retailers — then you might want to reconsider.

Best Buy will start the queues for Kinect from 10:30 PM, while waiting you will be able to watch a few demos of the system running. GameStop will close at their normal time and then reopen at 10PM tonight, the store will allow trade bonus on games, which can go toward your Kinect.

Toys R Us is going Kinect crazy, as they are allowing Microsoft to throw a party at their Times Square store from 6PM EST. That’s not all, the first 3,000 people in the line will get the Kinect system as well as Kinect Joyride and Sports. Will you be queuing up at midnight?
