Kindle app update for Android, iPad/iPhone get v3.1

Amazon has delivered improvements to their Kindle app for Android, iPhone/iPad, and Cloud Reader. While the iOS version has jumped to v3.4, similar improvements have arrived on Android at the same time although versions of the app vary by device.

The Kindle app for Android has include a few bug fixes and also UI tweaks for Android tablets, which now allows you to view two pages in landscape, adjust line spacing, and change a book’s margins. You can get this update on Android devices by either checking for an update or signing in to Google Play.

Apple iPad users can now enjoy graphic novels, comic books, and children’s books since version 3.4, which deliver access to over 1,000 titles for children. While we’re sure your child will have a favorite you can find titles like Curious George, Brown Bear, and also comics like Superman and Batman. There have also been a few UI tweaks to the iPad version, which deliver a cleaner look and smaller margins.

There are a few tweaks to other iOS devices as well, which include the iPod touch and iPhone. These changes can be viewed via the official iTunes/App Store, although users that experienced Kindle app problems when trying to search Wikipedia or Google will be glad to know these are now fixed.
