Next month Killzone: Shadow Fall players will receive update 1.09 which will bring brand new clan features. Guerrilla Games has announced that the patch will be the first of many phases of update that will add full clan support to the PS4 shooter game, coming in February.
Update 1.09 will introduce clan system features to Shadow Fall and also add support for displaying clan tags alongside player names. The Killzone website will also get an update with basic clan management functionality added, this will also give players the ability to create clans, promote members to clan officers and add or remove various members.
Guerrilla Games has also taken it upon themselves to apologize to players for the delayed addition of this clan system, thanking fans for their dedication. The developer also said that subsequent updates and patches will be rolled out on a regular basis, based on the feedback from the gaming community.
New content will also been reportedly added to enhance the multiplayer experience. We saw the latest free Killzone DLC announced last week, announced as The Hanger and The Cruiser, update 1.08 was released last week and brought a number of fixes.
