Key Huawei P9 specs reveal possible iPhone 7 camera

It’s funny how Huawei has decided to launch their P9 handset on its own rather than use MWC as the perfect platform. Having said that, maybe they did not want any other handset to outshine it, such as the Galaxy S7?

We might not know too much about the upcoming P9, but more details have leaked, such as another couple of images and those specs.

We cannot be too certain on the size of its display, but the size of the chassis is 5.2 inches, it will come with a custom Kirin 955 chipset and 4GB of RAM, which is rather impressive.

Key Huawei P9 reveals iPhone 7 camera

However, it is the addition of the twin 12-megapixel cameras that has got our attention, as this gives us a better idea of what the possible iPhone 7 camera could look like.

You can see in the images that there are two lenses, which should offer superb image quality. Gone are the days when you need a high amount of megapixels, as it is all down to the quality of those lensesalthough it will help having two of them working in unison with each other.

Its design is very interesting, as when you look at he image of its bottom it does resemble the iPhone with the headphone socket in the same place, as well as the speaker, and even the charging port.

There is also a fingerprint reader to the rear, which to us always seems like a strange place to have one. The only other piece of information being shared at this time by Engadget is how the mobile OS for the Huawei P9 will be Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
