Kazaa App-less Music Streaming For Android, iPad and iPhone

If like me you are a big fan of music and have been on the web for a while, you’ll probably already be familiar with the name Kazaa. Back in the day the site was used as a peer-to-peer sharing network before becoming a subscription based music service for legal reasons. Now Kazaa has announced that they will be streaming music to Apple and Android devices.

They have said that this will also be possible without paying the 30% subscription fee normally demanded by Apple. All subscribers to the music service will be able to stream any tune they want to their Android, iPad or iPhone device directly from the Kazaa website.

There is no need for a software or app download either as you can stream from the devices web browser directly. Subscription fees will be charged however and bills can be included on home phone bills, mobile bills or direct from credit or debit card.

The news comes from an article by Shane McGlaun at Android Community. They were able to get comments from Ray Musci of Atrinsic where he explained what Kazaa had been doing prior to this announcement and what they plan to do next. Read the full article by clicking the link above.

What do you think of this alternative music streaming option? Will you be using Kazaa? Let us know in the comments below.
