Jimi Hendrix Rock Band – Release rumors denied by MTV

It has been reported that early rumors hinting of a possible Rock Band: Jimi Hendrix title were premature, after MTV has denied any existance of such a title being in the works.

As reported from Eurogamer, the original rumors came from Janie Hendrix, the stepsister of the legendary man, who now owns all of the Hendrix estate and publishing rights.

She stated that his music would be available through ‘every type of media’, even going as far to say that a Rock Band version would be available before the end of this year.

MTV though, denied these claims, although they did hint that they are in ‘discussions’ to bring more of his music to their platform.

What are your thoughts on a Hendrix RB?
