Jetpack craving: Killzone SF, GTA V, and Android’s Joyride

It is not clear exactly why there’s lots of love for jetpacks, but the fact remains a large number of people love this rocket pack in the games we play. The desire to see the Grand Theft Auto V jetpack is clear and evidence has been mounting to the point that DLC almost certainly will bring a jetpack to GTA V, although the latest news reveals this item within another popular game.

Today, we see a massive hint on Twitter that Killzone: Shadow Fall will be getting its own jetpack and the announcement is expected tomorrow. You can see the tweet from the official Killzone page below, which also included a Vine animation clearly revealing a jetpack with Killzone SF. If you play this game and want more from multiplayer, then let us know what you think about jetpacks coming to the game shortly?

The love of jetpacks on mobile platforms – you will find a number of games on Android and iOS with jetpacks as well. One of the most popular on Android is appropriately named “Jetpack Joyride”, and this app has had over 50,000,000 installs on Android devices with more than 1 million ratings left on the Google play page. This clearly shows a love of this game, but also within the theme of jetpacks once again.

We will of course publish the full announcement about the Killzone: Shadow Fall Jetpack when it arrives on May 16, so keep connected to our social channels for further details as the news breaks.

When it comes to the GTA V jetpack, we know code was found highlighting this DLC for the future and another clue came at the start of this month, which revealed a possible spawn location for the Jetpack, although some people don’t want to see the jetpack in GTA Online and think it might ruin the multiplayer gameplay.

Why do you think people love jetpacks and if you play the above mentioned games, will you welcome a jetpack in Killzone: SF or GTA V? It is good to remember the love of zombies that revealed itself on just about every platform, and now we see aliens making a return in Call of Duty: Ghosts with Extinction and likely with upcoming GTA V DLC after a strong alien story being already in place.

GTA V evidence of Aliens and UFO

Whatever happens in the coming weeks and at E3 2014, the developers know to cater to our love for themes and this includes jetpacks, zombies, and of course aliens.
