Having previously brought you news of the Philips Fidelio SoundSphere speakers, which are compatible with Android devices, the iPod Touch, iPad and iPhone, we have yet another audio accessory for the Apple devices to tell you about. The JBL On Air Wireless which is AirPlay enabled.
This news comes from the article by Sam Sheffer at Engadget who says they were excited when thy first heard about the dock. They reported the news following a splash page for the On Air Wireless, which was put up at the JBL site.
As Sam Sheffer explains the system is connected over a wireless network to the AirPlay enabled Apple iOS 4.2 device or later and Mac. The dock sits centrally in the system, on a display screen that will show the information from the track you are playing and is surrounded by a speaker grill creating a ring of pure sound.
