Jawbone Fitness Band Android update akin to iOS

Last week saw the Jawbone Fitness Band receive an update to its iOS app, with those with Android devices having to play the waiting game. What made this a tougher pill to swallow was how Jawbone left Android users in the dark by not informing them as to when the update will be made available to them.

Well wait no more, as the Jawbone Fitness Tracker now has its Android update, and its new features are akin to the iOS app. However, we would like to point out that the Android app still lacks custom reminders, which is still considered an issue for some users.

New Jawbone fitness tracker app features — You will be happy to know that the app now supports wireless Up24 band, which helps it to sync wirelessly, along with sending out push notifications.

Other new features include Insight Reports, sunrise/sunset times for the sleep graph, and more, all of which can be explained on Google Play.

The UP by Jawbone app is just 37MB ins size and requires Android 4.0 and above. If you have downloaded the update we’d like to know what you think of the changes, and if you have come across any problems since updating.
