Jailbreak iPhone and iPad 4.3.3: Taking the plunge

A few days ago we reported that the iPhone and iPad 4.3.3 Jailbreak was now available, thanks to Redsn0w from the iPhone Dev-team. This latest PwnageTool now makes it much easier for users to backup and restore their iOS devices, but have you taken the plunge yet? We are certain that there will be a mixed reaction to this, so please take part in our poll below.

Things are not perfect with this jailbreak, which Redmond Pie has warned us about, along with a how-to guide. They list it in seven steps, but do state that if you use carrier unlock, then you must not use Redsn0w along with stock iOS 4.3.3 firmware. Let us hope that iPhone and iPad users did not find that out the hard way – saying that surely they would know this by now?

Some iOS users still would like to know the fascination with jailbreaking an iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad, and the simple answer is to unleash the true potential of these devices — something that Apple locks away from us. However, there are always risks involved, which you should all be aware of?

We would be interested to know if you have downloaded this latest jailbreak, and if you have experienced any issues with this? If you have, then please share this with our readers.
