While I have owned every generation of iPhone and respect everyone’s choice, I have never found a need to jailbreak my iPhone 1G, 2G, 3G, or now 4G device. There are useful things that can be done with a jailbroken device, which opens up options Apple decided not to allow. On Apple TV this could be using the USB port for storage, which was not possible if the device was not unlocked.
