Jailbreak iPhone 4.1: Why do you Jailbreak?

Some iPhone 4 owners really want an iOS 4.1 jailbreak, and this can be for many reasons including Cydia apps and using Game Center on the iPhone 3G with Redsn0w 0.9.6, but being able to jailbreak your iPhone can be tricky.

Recently we have seen some users go for the Sn0wBreeze 2.0.1 download, and risks have been highlighted with the GreenPois0n download that was said to be a fake, with this in mind and the risks that can be involved, why do you jailbreak?

Some countries allow jailbreaking legally, and others still have an illegal stance on the matter but there are ethical reasons about jailbreaking Apple iOS devices. Are you worried about the risks and do you think you have a right to jailbreak?

While I have owned every generation of iPhone and respect everyone’s choice, I have never found a need to jailbreak my iPhone 1G, 2G, 3G, or now 4G device. There are useful things that can be done with a jailbroken device, which opens up options Apple decided not to allow. On Apple TV this could be using the USB port for storage, which was not possible if the device was not unlocked.
