If you were unable to secure yourself one of the Jaguar F-type Project 7 models, then we have bad news because you never will. This is because out of the limited 250 units worldwide, only 60 were allocated for the UK and all of these have now been sold. We should not look at this as bad news though, as it shows Jaguar is on a roll and it’s not like this is the end of such vehicles.
There is said to still be another hundred or so on the waiting list, and so they will be eager for the Jaguar F-type Project 7 successors, the 8,9 and 10. If you live in other countries, then there is still a chance you can get hold of Project 7, but no doubt the list is already full as well?
It was obvious that the UK and other EU countries would get allocations first, but the US is not that far behind, although SVO is still trying to work on a road legal version for the Japanese market.
So what is the Jaguar F-type Project 7 like to drive? This question might not be an easy one to answer, but Autocar has had a good time trying to come up with the right answer.
The reviewer loves the fact that when you sit in the cockpit of the Project 7 it feels as though you are in a normal car, but you know when the heads begin to turn from those looking in, it is far from normal.
