iZen Garden 1.1 for the Apple iPad

A new app that allows users to create an iZen garden has been launched for the iPad. iZen Garden 1.1 has been completely redesigned with a new interface that takes advantage of the iPad’s unique features. It contains over 100 elements that can be placed in a user’s garden, and has the option of sharing creations online.

Developed by Random Ideas, LLC, the app starts the day with your Daily Zen just as in the iPhone version. Users slid open a drawer to select the elements they require. They are selected and dropped into the sand, and a rake is used to create circular ripples in the sand. All the time you are creating a relaxing soundtrack plays in the background.

Users can share their creations via email and Twitter. The iZen Garden for the iPhone was launched in conjunction with the opening of the App Store almost two years ago, and has been highly acclaimed in that time, winning awards and being selected as a “Staff Favorite”. Now with the launch of the iPad version users can really stretch their creativity.

iZen Garden for iPad 1.1 is on the App Store for $5.99. iPad required with OS 3.2 or later.
