Having already reported that some iOS users in Australia had started to see iTunes Radio appear on their devices, we can now tell you that the new service is live in Australia and becomes the only country outside the U.S. to get the service.
We knew that once other countries outside the United Sates received iTunes Radio, then others would follow in quick succession, with UK being one of the next on the list. However, as yet we have no clue as to when this will be, but we know iOS users are starting to get a little frustrated.
iTunes Radio UK availability impatience — Now that iTunes Radio is live in Australia, iOS users in the UK (myself included) wait patiently for any news on when we will be able to take advantage of the service. We say patiently, but we are growing impatient very quickly because iOS users in the U.S. have been able to enjoy iTunes Radio for almost 5 months now, which to us seems very unfair.
We had assumed that the U.S. making use of new services and products from Apple way in advance of other countries was a thing of the past, but it seems as though we have gone back in time.
Some iOS users in the UK have also reported to have been able to access iTunes Radio, and with this being the case with Australia last week maybe the UK will be next on the list to officially get iTunes Radio?
