iTheater for iPhone 5: hands-free holder with speakers

The idea of putting a screen much closer to your face for a bigger picture isn’t a new one, and we’ve seen a lot of gadgets trying to deliver the cinema experience at home or on the move with this idea in-mind. The photos on this page feature the iTheater for iPhone 5, which is a concept that has been designed by Mike Enayah.

The device will basically allow the iPhone 5 to be hands-free and the headset includes speakers for a cinema experience using Apple’s phone. The user can fully adjust distance between their eyes and the holder containing the iPhone 5, which then delivers the optimal vision distance for each user. This adjustment would also change the apparent size of the display as well, although the iPhone 5 screen measures only 4-inches long with 326 pixels per inch.

Mike Enayah is a Michigan-based designer with a vision that could see thousands of people using the iTheater with an iPhone 5 for a personal movie theater experience wherever you want it. You only need to slot your iPhone 5 into the holder, but there could be problems for the fashion conscious considering the design creates a device that isn’t the smallest for your head.

Would you use the iTheater for iPhone 5, and if so would it only be in your home? You can see many more photos showing the design in this gallery.
