Iron Man 3 prep starts with Mark VII iPhone 5 case

Iron Man 3 is fast approaching, with the new movie set to hit cinemas in a few months time. If you consider yourself to be something of a Tony Stark fan, you may be interested in converting your iPhone 5 into an official Marvel-licensed Iron Man Mark VII case just in time for the movie.

It sounds crazy we know, and it looks pretty crazy too. Crazy in a good way we feel though and perfect for Marvel fans who really want to celebrate the movie in style. Accessory sellers Brando are offering a Iron Man Mark VII plate of armor for your prized asset and are currently accepting pre-orders of $49 on their website.

To repeat, this is a product officially endorsed by Marvel and special features include a slick white LED light in the center to replicate Iron Man’s Arc Reactor. There’s also a very cool opening shoulder function which will allow the rear camera to be used and then concealed when not in use.

It’s over the top but you just know that these cases are going to fly off the shelves. Brando has said that they’ll have stock in April, so get your pre-order in now if you want to secure one – they are limited edition and won’t be available forever. It will obviously add a lot of bulk to your slimline iPhone 5, but at least you can say you have a working Arc Reactor in your pocket.

If you really want to go over the top, you can then change your Siri language to English United Kingdom and then proceed to call Siri JARVIS and dish out the voice commands to your trusty assistant. Let us know if you plan to get one of these or indeed if you have already ordered one!

What other Marvel iPhone 5 cases would you consider buying if officially released?
