The ongoing iOS 12 beta has once again uncovered some secrets with regards to what Apple plans to show at their upcoming iPhone event in September.
Now, images have been revealed within the beta showing the taller iPhone X model, which has been dubbed the iPhone X ‘Plus’ and is widely believed to be coming with a 6.5-inch display.
However, perhaps the most interesting thing about this leak is that images for the next iPad have been revealed as well. The images have come from Twitter user Guilherme Rambo and show a square-shaped iPad design for the first time.
I'm having dejavu. Payment glyphs for "iPhone X Plus", iPhone X (for comparison) and 2018 iPad Pro (which is square and weird). Found in PassKitUIFoundation. pic.twitter.com/H13448oYr8

Not only that, but this iPad doesn’t show a home button nor does it have a notch. This is noteworthy, as previous leaks of the iPad Pro have all suggested that the iPad Pro will match the iPhone X form factor, including the notch but these new images suggest otherwise.
Considering that they have come within the iOS 12 beta makes this more than just a rumor so let us know what you think about this.
Would you be interested in buying a new iPad with the latest hardware specs, but a square design around the edges?
