iPhone iOS 4: 12 Important Features Ahead of Release

With just a few hours to go until the release of iOS 4 for the iPhone and iPod Touch, we thought we would take a look at the 12 most important features out of the 100 included in this update. From tomorrow you will be able to do some amazing things with your iPhone, mostly with the new iPhone 4 model though.

The first and most important feature has to be Multitasking. This feature has been a long time coming and will allow you to run apps in the background while performing other tasks. Folders: You can now organize your apps into folders by dropping and dragging them in.

Improved Email: this allows you to see messages from multiple accounts. iBooks transforms your iPhone into a mini ebook reader. Create playlists allows you to create custom playlists.

The 5X didital zoom is a much-needed feature, and will work even better with the new 5-megapixel camera on the fourth-generation iPhone. The other 7 new features are as follows: Tap to focus video, Faces and Places in Photos, Home screen, Wallpaper, Gift apps, Spell checking and Wireless keyboard support. For more details visit Apple
