iPhone iOS 4.1 Jailbreak: GreenPois0n Download Is Fake – User Warnings

While we still don’t have an exact time for when the ‘official’ GreenPois0n jailbreak tool will be available to download, we can tell you that a fake version is currenty doing the rounds on the internet, and we advise all of you to be wary of this.

As reported from Softpedia, the fake version of the jailbreaking tool is now available to download from various locations online, but rather than jailbreak your iOS 4.1 device, it contains trojans and other harmful software.

Furthermore, these trojans have specifically been designed by cyber-criminals to steal your passwords, so next time you do a google search for ‘Greenpois0n download’ or something similar, be very careful for what you click on.

Hopefully we’ll be able to bring you details on the stable version of Greenpois0n, but for now, let us know your thoughts on the fake version. Have you seen it online, or even downloaded it?
