iPhone iOS 4.1 Beta: Jailbreak guide for iPod Touch 3G/2G

It has been reported that it is now possible to jailbreak the recently released iOS 4.1 Beta for iPod touch devices, either 3G or 2G models. Sn0wbreeze 1.8 is required to perform this method, we have a full guide to show you.

The guide comes to us courtesy of RedmondPie, who have provided a full set of instructions and download links for users who wish to try this out.

Firstly, you’ll need to download the iOS 4.1 beta SDK, which was recently released by Apple. Once you have done that, then you’ll need to follow the step-by-step guide over at RedmondPie to get it working.

The process seems quite complicated, so this is only advised for those who really know what they are doing. We don’t want to be held responsible for bricked devices.

If you are willing to try this out on your iPod Touch, let us know if it works!
