The iPhone 8 Plus is going to be the premium upgrade for many smartphone lovers this year, but at the same time it is simply too expensive for most who are unwilling to justify the high costs that Apple are charging.
The iPhone 8 Plus will cost £799 or $799 for the 64GB model, while the OnePlus 5 is available for the much lower price of $479 for a 64GB version and the 128GB model is still cheaper than the iPhone 8 Plus at $539 and it even comes with 8GB of RAM.
So for price alone, the OnePlus 5 is the clear winner but with similar specs between the two how do they compare in an overall speed test in multiple areas?
A fantastic video courtesy of Phone Battles will give you the answer to this, as you’ll see speed tests for boot up time, app opening speed tests for the latest games, camera speed tests, benchmarks and much more.
