iPhone 6 vs. 5S, 5, and 4S in mock-based review

Apple fans were treated last week to the best comparison yet of a potential next iPhone 6 vs. the current 5S and 5C models, then side-by-side with all previous iPhone models including the 5, 4S, 4, 3GS, 3G, and first generation.

The latest iPhone 6 mockup comes after the amount of pictures leaking online has been increasing, although this is normal considering Apple’s WWDC 2014 keynote time is just one week away.

We have Sonny Dickson to thank for the latest iPhone 6 pictures along with a complete comparison to previous generations. Take a look at the photos we featured on this page and then head over to for a lot more, which include the iPhone 6 concept next to Samsung’s Galaxy S5, HTC’s One M8, and also Apple’s latest iPod Touch 5G.

This iPhone 6 review is based on a pattern seen within many pictures and Dickson feels confident enough in the design to provide a comparison in this way.

You can clearly see how the iPhone 6 thickness compares between other models in the next two pictures, although this image doesn’t include all generations with the dummy model.

Some of Product Reviews readers commented on HTC One M8 similarities with the iPhone 6 design being shown in a number of leaks and concept designs. You will notice this clearly from comparing the backs, which a mock of an iPhone 6 vs. HTC One M8 reveals antenna bands with roughly the same placement.

Your opinion on this design of a new iPhone 6? Let us know in the comments if you would gladly purchase a new generation of Apple phone designed in such a way, or if you are expecting something completely different then explain the specs and features you’d desire to see.

If you want to take a look at the range of so-called leaked iPhone 6 photos, then see our article revealing the succession. The next major development with Apple will be their iOS 8 beta, expected to be up for developer download shortly after the keynote, and also the 7.1.2 release window should be before WWDC.
