iPhone 5 vs. Galaxy Note 3 in a nutshell

Although we are expecting an Apple upgrade from the current iPhone 5 it is still worth comparing this older device to some of the newer models from other companies. The popular iPhone 5 is subject to many comparison videos and we thought our readers would like to see this being put side-to-side with the new Samsung Galaxy Note 3.

A brief video by Android Authority gives us a quick look at both products and we have embedded this below our post, which only lasts around three minutes. In that time the fast talking presenter discusses the differences and gets to the point without babbling on too much.

He highlights both flagship models having a vast amount of differences which can be initially seen when you look at the size, yet the size of the Galaxy Note 3 is not as easy to use with one hand and the S-pen defines this.

The Galaxy Note 3 has a vast array of options compared to the older iPhone 5, and when he discusess the specs and features, we can’t help but feel the next iPhone upgrade needs to be substantial to compete with the likes of the Note 3 features and other top range smartphones on the market.

While some feel these two products should not really be compared, we understand it is not particularly fair putting an older, and smaller iPhone 5 up against the larger and newer Note 3.

In defence of the video, comparison videos are a great way for the uniformed to get a reasonable idea what is on offer, and those looking for the ideal device to suit their needs may find comparisons of this kind give them a decent perspective prior to making that all important acquisition.

Are you expecting substantial improvements to the next iPhone? Or do you feel that Samsung products are really taking a hold of the market with their vast range of devices to choose from.
