iPhone 5 Release In One Model, Overwhelming Demand

Recently we asked our readers if Apple should release a single iPhone 5 which will work with both AT&T and Verizon Wireless or stick with that they have been doing and release carrier-specific iPhones, well our poll has now had over 250 votes and the results are overwhelming.

In the poll (at the time of this post) 274 votes had been submitted, 214 of which (78%) wanted a single iPhone which will be able to connect to both Verizon and AT&T networks, whilst 42 votes suggested that Apple’s carrier specific iPhone releases were a smart business move, just 18 votes suggested that Apple would release a single model if they could.

Obviously just 274 votes does not give us a complete representation of the entire market, however it is clear that our readers want one iPhone 5 which will work with both AT&T and Verizon, obviously this might not be technically possible yet, but let’s face it Apple are aways pushing the boundaries with their products, therefore we wouldn’t rule out the possibility just yet.

With so many competitive smartphones available these days Apple may start giving consumers what they really want to stay dominant in the high-end smartphone market, what do you think?
