iPhone 5 adaptor concept for 2012 changes

When someone phones you to ask if you have heard the big changes iPhone 5 is going to make, you then realize how some Apple rumors can be far reaching thanks to mainstream media picking them up and selling them to consumers as almost fact. This happened to myself the other day regarding the rumor of a new connection for the 2012 iPhone, which could mean big things for accessories you have already.

Our earlier article touched on the way some news outlets bash rumored iPhone 5 specs, even when thousands have been asking for certain changes, and we explained how a Micro-USB connector could be a good thing for the new iPhone 5 if Apple include an adaptor in the box rather than selling one to us after. Initial feedback we received showed that most consumers are happy with the change to a widely supported dock connector, and some even said they are “really excited” about this possibility.

We didn’t have any images for you the other day on what might appear within the new iPhone 5 box, but thanks to this article we can now show you a concept image of an iPhone 5 adaptor that would solve problems with connecting to older accessories. The phone call we received is the perfect example of hype being created around the iPhone and how this happens every year, which some people panic and mainstream media love to sell a negative headline. The solution to a change like this is pretty simple and could be like the image above. Would you welcome a change to a USB type connector for the 2012 iPhone?

Repetitive iPhone 5 rumors for new features — over the course of this year we have heard man of the same features being repeated by blogs, which in some circumstances is thanks to multiple rumors and in other situations it’s because some blogs love to spin the same old news. The two main changes we keep hearing include LTE and a larger screen, although it is likely there will be a massive design change as well considering the age of the current design.

What new features would you like to see on the next iPhone, which are different to those mentioned above?
