For those of you planning to pick up either the HTC EVO 4G on Sprint or the highly anticipated iPhone 4G this Summer from Apple, we have the perfect article for you, which provides a detailed comparison on both handsets.

As reported from Autostraddle, both handsets are due to land sometime in June, although we still don’t know which handset will arrive first. The EVO 4G is rumored to be available from June 13th, while the iPhone 4G could be available from day one of WWDC 2010, which starts on June 7th.

As for the comparison of the EVO 4G and iPhone 4G, Autostraddle have compared them using the following key categories: Screen, Network Provider, 4G Connectivity, Speed, Camera, OS, Apps, Design and Storage.

If you are seeking some early assistance on what’s surely going to be the two hottest handsets around this summer, then you should definitely check out their article in the link above.

Autostraddle think that it all comes down to a matter of ‘preference’ between the two, but do you already favor one over the other? Read it in full and give us your thoughts on it.

Bob, I have an iphone right now, and I am having trouble deciding on which phone I want. Please tell me what you think of both phones when you get a chance to evaluate both.

I'm not the type to rush out and buy the next hyped phone. I've spent a lot of time researching both phones. My wife and I have used the iPhone for the last 2 years and have found it to both good and bad for the reasons cited by the previous comments. It is easy enough to use by my wife and my kids 4 and 2 (in airplane mode of course) but we hate the dropped calls, the walled apps, iTunes synching problems for two phone on the same synching computer (all my wife's contacts keep showing up on… Read more »

Its called 4g for 2 reasons:
its the 4th generation iphone and for marketing reasons, right now after years of listening of 3g speeds and lately about 4g speeds, they are trying to create some hype!
Stupid mac and their mind tricks!
EVO 4G has way better specs and its years ahead of the other phones!
cant wait to get it!

So the Name that is dedicated mainly to the phone function is pretty useless for me and If Apple decides to stay with this bad carrier and dropped calls, I cannot justify having an iPhone. My wife uses a Palm Pre with Sprint and has never any dropped calls. Since I hate Apples quiet game before their releases, I do not know if they will… Read more »
