iPhone 4G: Google will no longer appear on OS 4.0 search

Some interesting news to bring you now, as it has been reported that Apple has removed a long standing feature within their iPhone OS, which will no longer be available when iPhone OS 4.0 rolls out this Summer.

As reported from Apple Insider, iPhone owners are currently used to seeing a Google search option when using the keyboard online during a web search.

It is located in the bottom right-hand side of your keyboard, but we understand that Apple will now replace this with ‘Search’, removing the Google branding all together.

Apple Insider hints that this may be due to a pending agreement with Microsoft and their Bing search engine, so we will have to wait and see if this develops further.

Let us know your thoughts on this change.
