iPhone 4G: File Sharing and Widgets in OS 4.0

Some exciting news to bring those of you looking to pick up the new iPhone 4G this Summer, as the iPhone OS 4.0 beta 3 released to developers recently has encovered a few new features that you should be aware of.

As reported from BGR, the main inclusion within the new beta is probably the file sharing feature. You’ll be pleased to know that Apple are now allowing you to connect your iPhone to your computer and easily transfer your files via the iTunes software.

Another cool feature discovered within the beta 3 is a very neat looking media player widget within multitasking on OS 4.0. As you can see from the screeenshot below, you can easily control your tracks using the buttons on the widget, or return to the iPod interface – all from the multitasking menu.

Hopefully the new beta will encover even more juicy features like these. Head over to BGR for full details. What are your thoughts on file sharing and the use of widgets in OS 4.0?
