iPhone 4 or EVO 4G – Wireless Charging Powermats at Best Buy

When the iPhone 4 and the EVO 4G was first released Apple and HTC did not offer much in the way of accessories that was left to third-party vendors. This is still the case today, and the choice is extensive. However, one device comes along that most owners of these handsets will want. The accessory that I am talking about is Wireless Charging Powermats, and you will be pleased to know that Best Buy is now stocking them for the above handsets.

When we say stocking them, the retail giant has them in stock and is about to allow their shoppers to purchase them — although we have no details of a date or price. We can expect them to sell at a competitive price, just like most other products from the store. Photo evidance of this can be found on Joseph L. Flatley’s post on Engadget.

Both the Apple iPhone and the HTC EVO 4G will benefit from the powermat, as they have never had the best battery performance — the fourth-generation iPhone battery is a vast improvement over its predecessors, but still has a long way to go to compete with its rivals.

There are those who are not convinced of the powermat, as you will need to put your EVO 4G or iPhone 4 in a case and then place it on the charging mat. This is not exactly as good as the Palm Touchstone — now that is a device that is worth of another mention.

Do you think that the powermat is a useless accessory?
