iPhone 4 Antenna Problems: Latest Steve Jobs Response

It has been a week now since the launch of the iPhone 4, and the devices antenna problems continue to rumble on. Now an apparent email conversation between Steve Jobs and an Apple fan have surfaced. are reporting that it all started when an iPhone 4 owner posted a video on YouTube demonstrating the devices much publicized signal loss when being held in the hand on the left lower side.

Then the video was noticed by Apple and they contacted the owner directly, and said they did not consider the antenna problems an issue. They went on to say that it was just “rumor hysteria” and not to post any more videos.

The Apple fan that has been called “Tom”, responded by emailing the Apple engineer who first contacted him and Steve Jobs directly. Emails continued to be exchanged with one from Steve Jobs saying “No, you are getting all worked up over a few days of rumors. Calm down”.

These email exchanges are thought to be genuine but we cannot be 100% sure on this, but you can read the emails in full here.
