iPad 2 panels bleeding light: LG get Blame

Apple’s iPad 2 is no doubt a very popular electronic device and proof of this still remains with most stores still out of stock of the product. A number of possible reasons have surfaced for what the causes of the shortages could be.

One of these reasons has been put down to the faulty panels that some customers have been experiencing. A number of reports have pointed out that some tablet displays have been bleeding light. A common problem with LCD edge-lit panels.

The unfortunate manufacturers who are being blamed for these leakages and there for the shortages are Korean based LG. These are who are responsible for providing the panel displays for the Apple device.

According to the article at Crave, a report has been filed about shipments of a new batch of panels which points out that LG panels have reduced shipments making way for new panels from Samsung. Check out the full article by clicking the link above.
