iPad 2 Cases: Alternatives to Smart Cover from Scosche

When Apple unveiled the iPad 2 they seemed keen to promote their new Smart Covers, Apple claim that these are much more than cases as they magnetically align, automatically sleep and wakes your iPad and doubles up as a stand, there are 5 leather colors to choose from ($69.00 each) and 5 polyurethane colors ($39.00 each), but what if you do not want Apple’s Smart Cover?

As with any Apple device launch accessory manufacturers are keen to jump on the bandwagon with their own solutions, today we look at the iPad 2 cases which Scosche are already offering.

Scosche have a wide-range of iPad 2 cases to choose from, the foldIO P2 range are available in black carbon fiber texture, black leather texture, white carbon fiber texture and white leather texture, each costs $44.99 and feature suede interior lining, a low-profile design, access to all connections and three-position landscape viewing.

If the foldIO P2 do not take your fancy you should check out the glosSEE P2 cases, again these cost $44.99 and are available in 5 different colors, smoke, clear, blue, pink and purple, all of which are made from flexible rubber which enhances grip and offer shock protection, they also come with a screen protector.

Finally if neither of the previous cases take your fancy you should check out the snapSHIELD P2 cases, these low profile cases cost just $29.99 each and are available in the same colors as the glosSEE P2 cases (smoke, clear, blue, purple and pink). These cases come with a screen protector and are made from a shatterproof polycarbonate which has been tailored to allow access to all of the iPad 2’s connections and controls.
