iPad 2 availability low as Apple expands

iPad 2 availability is low, as Apple expands their tablet device into other markets. The new iPad has already been suffering from shipping delays, and the likes of India now getting the device could slow things down once again. For those in the U.S. who are still hoping to get their hands on one, then why not try out the iPad2 Scanner.

All you need to do is enter your ZIP code, what color, storage and either Wi-Fi or 3G and then press scan. We cannot confirm if it works 100 percent, but looking at Walmart direct and out of stock warnings, it could well be correct. We suggest you give it a go, and see what your chances are of getting an iPad 2 soon.

Out of the five models that Walmart has for offer on their online store, there is only one available – Apple iPad 2 with Wi-Fi + 3G (Verizon, Black) — the rest are still out of stock. The issue we have with this is that fact that there are no estimated dates as to when new stock will be coming in.

As we mentioned above, India is the next country to get the new iPad 2, with the cheapest model starting at Rs 29,500. The strange thing is, this is not long after the first iPad was made available in the country. The Times of India reports that Apple has launched the iPad in another 11 countries, and those in the U.S and the U.K will now fear that shipping dates will begin to get even longer again, but time will tell.

Do you believe that shipping dates will be affected by the launch of the iPad 2 in more countries?
