iOS Music Streaming: Airphonic Wirefree Hi-fi Streaming Kit

Owners of the iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad can now stream their music from their device wirelessly to an iPod docking system, following the launch of the AirPhonic Wirefree Hi-fi Kit.

The AirPhonic allows users to stream their music at full CD quality with no drop-outs or interference. It works with most major brands of Docking system including those from Altec Lansing, Bose, JBL, and many more.

The new system consists of two small dongles; the male version connects to the iDevice while the receiver goes into the docking station. Each dongle will only have to be paired on first use, and allows users remote track and volume control from up to ten meters away.

The Standard edition costs $120.00 in the US with free shipping, while in the UK it costs £79.95 with free shipping. AirPhonic Plus edition costs $135.00/£89.95 with free shipping. This version adds Spotify, Last FM, and YouTube streaming.
