If you own an iOS device which a lot of you do now, you should firstly check out an app simply called ‘Grow Herbs’. The App has been developed by CleverMatrix LTD and currently costs $1.99 USD to download from the store. It contains details on many varieties of herbs, how to grow them effectively and also pictures of each herbs – even going as far as listing possible prices for different types of herbs.

If you are looking for a free alternative to growing herbs at home, you may want to try ‘Garden Produce USA Free’ which is another application by CleverMatrix LTD. This app lists information on how to grow different types of herbs, but it also includes information on fruit and vegtables as well.

We realise some of you may not want to browse the App Store in search of these apps, so we’ve also included a related website for you to look at. There is a simple five step guide over at eHow, which you’ll probably find useful if you’re a newcomer to growing herbs.
