When iOS 8.4 was released a couple of days ago we had assumed that it brought an end to the WiFi issue that had been plaguing a small minority of users. However, it was not long before people started to complain that the problems were still there. This got a lot of attention from Product-reviews readers, who believe that Apple is highly unlikely to get on top of this issue with any form of iOS 8 update.
Might have to wait until the release of iOS 9 to fix the Wi-Fi issue – With Apple still unable to fix this issue, many people that have become affected by this issue believe that it will take iOS 9 to finally bring an end to this misery.
Users affected by this persistent issue believe that Apple has spent far too much time and effort on its new Music streaming service rather than the things that truly matter, although that comes down to personal opinion.
Another said the Wi-Fi issue only started for them since iOS 8.3, and so much luckier than those that have been suffering since iOS 8 was released last year. Having said that, another of our readers said this issue only arose since updating to iOS 8.4 on Tuesday.
People with an iPad Air 2, and an iPhone 5S are more affected by this problem, and in some cases have to be almost on top of their router in order to get on the Internet, which kind of defeats the point. Having said that iPhone 4S and 6 owners are also having issues, but nowhere near as much.

A final thought: With a billion iOS users it’s clear this is only impacting a small percentage and not a problem everyone is seeing, which could point to router compatibility or bad installs
