It was only yesterday when the second beta of iOS 9.2 was released to developers, but now public tester can download the latest update. The iOS 9.2 public beta 2 release notes went live less than an hour ago, and brings all the enhancements, changes and bug fixes as yesterday’s version. Please make certain that you are happy to update, as you will no longer be able to restore to an older version.
Release notes and and known issues – There were two issues with Apple watch with the iOS 9.2 beta 1, and that was stock glance possibly missing for some users after they had un-paired and re-paired their wearable. Also, in some cases, Apple was unable too sync music. Thankfully, both of these problems have now been fixed.
There was also an audio issue that had been hurting the audio quality when playing via USB in some cars. Another reported issue was when setting up an iCloud Keychain, the error message “Could Not Set Up iCloud Keychain” was received.
However, it is clear that the biggest addition with this latest iOS 9.2 beta is AT&T NumberSync, which works pretty similar to Apple Continuity, details of which can be found in our earlier article.
