iOS 8 upgrade procrastinators wait for 8.0.1

Later today will see an influx of people upgrade to iOS 8, as it is expected to go live within the next 8 hours. However, there are some users out there who never rush to download to the latest version because they do not wish to get caught up in the many problems that come with upgrading the moment it is made available.

iOS 8 upgrade procrastinators wait for 8.0.1 — When iOS 7 went live last September, there was a small percentage of users who decided that they did not wish to follow the trend, and so decided to wait for iOS 7.0.1 to be released, as by that time it would have given Apple a chance to iron out some of the more common problems.

It is a sad thing to know that many of us know that with a new version of iOS, troubles follow, it has always been like it, and we don’t see it changing with the release of iOS 8 either.

iOS 8 upgrade procrastinators

Even though the new software offers a number of new features and improvements to help make your iOS device run much better, this still does not stop people from procrastinating as to whether they should hit that update tab later today.

What stops them from updating – A majority of app developers will take time for their apps to fully support iOS 8, and so you may not get the full experience, or in some cases fail to work, or keep closing down.

The most common reason not to upgrade right away is the fear of falling prey to bugs or minor hiccups. Apple is still working on problems with iOS 8 as we speak, but will not be able to implement them until the first upgrade. There might also be bugs that are not apparent to them, and so the millions of iOS users will be used as a testing pool to worm them out.

Another reason why some users may not decide to upgrade to iOS 8 right away is it will kill your jailbreak. It will take a while for an iOS 8 jailbreak download to be made ready, and as yet there has been no mention of a timeline.

These are just a few reasons as to why some people may put off the iOS update later today, and would rather wait for the release of iOS 8.0.1, but are you one of them?

Ios 8 seems to have a bug where you can’t swipe away the notification banner when you have a new message
