There is only a small percentage of people who have had issues with iOS 8 battery life, as the majority of them seem rather happy. That being said, those who are having issues will not care about those who do not, and wish for a way to resolve the battery drain problem. We thought we would offer you some information about an iOS 8 battery life fix from a clean install to iOS 8.0.2.
We have already looked at the battery life issues some iPad and iPhone owners were having, more so iPhone 4S owners. Many of our readers responded to this by sharing their issues, and to say they wish they never updated, but they just need to step back and go about things a little differently.
The good news is, this problem is not as bad as you would think and can be solved rather easily. One of the main issues is with a bad install, and so there is process you can go through to help resolve the battery life issue.
We learned from some of our readers that the battery drain issue can be fixed with a clean install, which will now be iOS 8.0.2. If the battery life on your iPhone or iPad was okay with iOS 7, then the chances are it is not an issue with the update, but rather related to software on your device, and so a clean install would eradicate that issue.
There are some cases that the battery could be faulty itself, and in that case a clean install will be a waste of time. During the iOS 8 beta process our developer noticed battery life issues and after a clean install rectified the problem.
If you are uncertain how to perform a clean install, then you can find out here.
Did you have an issue with battery life after installing iOS 8, if so did the clean install of iOS 8.0.2 resolve the problem?
