Only yesterday the new iOS 7 was released to the public and regardless of the feedback while this operating system was in beta we are not expecting this to release without any problems. With that in mind, those intending to do so on specific Apple products like the iPad may want to check out some reviews or get a visual account of this in action.
At the bottom of this post we have embedded a video by Booredatwork.com that gives us an informative review of the iOS 7 on the iPad, which lasts just over seven minutes. The video runs through many of the new features which have been regarded as the biggest thing since Apple’s iPhone.
This is insightful visual account of what to expect, although some glitches are also experienced with the use of the video, which is not ideal for a final representation. With that in mind, we discussed some issues when iOS 7 went live yesterday and this involves server problems when downloading iOS 7.
Reports have come in concerning server errors and messages informing users that iTunes is unable to check for update, although Apple conceive that during the time of its release it would be normal to get these server issues, as the amount of users trying to download at the same time is bound to produce some irregularities.
Further concern comes an hour after it went live and this was experienced when we attempted to update our iPhone as a message read “An unknown error occurred (9006)“. This gave us reason to check our network settings as well as our home network, although due to the amount of people trying to download this worldwide we thought it would be wiser to try it out again later on in the day.
While we informed our readers that it is worth being patient and to try again later, we would love to know whether you are still experiencing problems now, as we try to pin-point the main issues that users have witnessed. Has the demand slowed down your download time? We understand that specific territories have more issues than others, so let us know how you’re getting on in the comments and what part of the world you reside in.
