How is your battery life at the moment on iOS 7.1.2? Apple only just released their latest software update a few days ago, but we have already been flooded with comments on how iOS 7.1.2 battery life is still a major problem with significant battery drains occurring overnight.
It seems to be a problem that has been lingering on since iOS 6 that Apple just cannot seem to get right 100%. While some have reported improvements, it seems that a higher number of users are having battery life problems on iOS 7.1.2, compared to iOS 7.1.1.
This is obviously disappointing when new updates are supposed to bring improvements, not further disappointment. We’ve noticed the battery drain overnight on our own devices, but here is what some other users are saying about their own experiences.
iOS 7.1.2 update is KILLING battery life on iphone and iPad And GPS will not engage on phone. Is it possible to roll back?

Fortunately, this week we have heard fresh rumors that Apple may be fast tracking an iOS 7.1.3 update to sort battery life drain once and for all. There is no definitive source though to clarify these whispers, but let’s hope that any iOS 7.1.3 update that does happen will land during July.
In the meantime, get in touch with us on your own battery life experience on iOS 7.1.2, compared to iOS 7.1.1 – is it really as bad as some users are saying? Would you prefer Apple to spend time to fully investigate battery life drain before focusing on the iOS 8 update this Fall?
Or are you hoping to update to iOS 8 as soon as possible in the hope that the battery life problem fixes itself?
