The betas continue to arrive for iOS 6 and these reveal some hidden features that aren’t shown on Apple’s showcase page, and we are also seeing a number of rumors for iOS 6 arriving via so-called insider sources. The latest news seems to focus on Bluetooth 4.0, and what this means for future devices from Apple.
We are hearing that Apple are planning on using Bluetooth in some innovative ways with iOS 6, and this includes pairing an iPad and iPhone with Bluetooth, which could allow you to make phone calls on your Apple tablet. The innovation won’t stop there and we could see phone calls being made on new iMacs and other Apple desktops, which would again be thanks to the latest software and a Bluetooth connection. File sharing might be another feature Apple could include with Bluetooth, which would work between most Apple devices as standard within iOS 6.
Apple want to continue its mission to make their products work in harmony, and with many fans owning an iPad, iPhone, iMac, Apple TVs, and other Apple gadgets it seems like a good idea. Apple has a way of building a fan base that loves most of their products, and surveys have shown in the past that Apple fans are more loyal than another other brand.
The last Apple keynote missed many iOS 6 features — there are a number of reasons why this had been, and they include restricted time and that some features were not ready for the public to see. We have already heard about a number of these other iOS 6 features since WWDC, and one of the most interesting included the Auto Layout feature that will give app developers some slack where the change in iPhone 5 display ratio is concerned.
Would you like to see a bridge between Apple devices using Bluetooth 4? How would you like iOS 6 and other Apple software to use this Bluetooth bridge between devices, and is there a certain feature you want to see?
