iOS 4 Jailbreak: PwnageTool 4.0

Apple released their new iOS 4 for the iPhone and iPod Touch a couple of days back now, since then the Dev-Team has been working hard and they have come up with something you might want – PwnageTool 4.0. Yes the jailbreak for iOS4 has finally been released.

You will be pleased to know that this latest hack will work with earlier jailbroken iPhone 3GS, 3G and second generation iPod Touch models. However it does not work with the original iPhone 2G and iPod Touch. Thomas Ricker from Engadget has to point out the obvious and warns you before you undertake this task.

Engadget managed to get the jailbroken 3G running iOS 4 to work using redsn0w, this will now be able to unlock all basebands released since April 26, 2008. If you are prepared to take the risk then head over to the Dev-Team Blog for all the details.
