Although Apple are yet to release their iOS 4.3 software update for devices, we are hearing that the hacking community are already planning to release a untethered jailbreak for iOS 4.3, the moment after Apple releases the download on iTunes.
As reported from RedmondPie, it has been confirmed via Twitter, that members of the iPhone Dev-Team are already hard at work on an untethered jailbreak for iOS – great news for those of you who want to enjoy the new features of iOS 4.3, but still gain access to jailbreak-only features such as Cydia.
Here is a Tweet from iPhone Dev-Team member MuscleNerd:
”@comex and now one goal is to get Monte to untether 4.3-final using 4.2.1 SHSH blobs (and future FW X->FW Y’s, etc)”
Comex is of course referring to the Redsn0w Monte jailbreak, which the team are now trying to get a working port ready for iOS 4.3. Will they get it ready in time for Apple’s official release though? – Only time will tell. We’ll let you know the moment Apple and the iPhone Dev-Team release their respective downloads.
