You may remember back in late November 2010 we asked you what you wanted from iOS 4.3, developers got their hands on this iOS version roughly one month ago, now rumors are suggesting that the public iOS 4.3 release date isn’t too far away.
Apple has not officially spoke about the iOS 4.3 release date yet, however a recent article posted on thing.co.uk suggests that there will be an iOS 4.3 launch event taking place on February 9th, exactly how they came up with this date is not clear, however it has now been over two months since the release of iOS 4.2.1 and if you check out the iOS version history on Wikipedia updates usually arrive between one and two months after the last.
Optimists also suggest that Apple may well unveil the iPad 2 when they show off iOS 4.3, our recent post claims that the highly anticipated iPad successor has been seen in the wild and another recent article shows one app at the App Store which requires iOS 4.3, surely this means that Apple is nearing an iPad 2 announcement.
With so many rumors doing their rounds it is hard to filter out the facts from fiction, therefore we will have to keep you posted as we find out more, most reliable sources seem to believe that iOS 4.3 is not too far away, however very much doubt that the iPad 2 will be unveiled on Wednesday… what do you think?
