iOS 4.2 Update: Two Release Dates for Download?

We have another twist in the iOS 4.2 release saga to tell you about now, as we have details on not one, but two rumored release dates for when Apple is planning to release the download for iOS 4.2.

As reported from RedmondPie, fresh details have surfaced from 9to5Mac, who have in-turn obtained their information from two separate German websites with inside information within Apple.

Apparently, we should now expect the iOS 4.2 download to drop between November 9th (Tuesday) and November 12th (Friday). We can’t say for sure which date is correct, but it does look likely that the update will definitely be available for the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad before the end of the week.

As always, we’ll keep you updated if anything changes or if we receive any new information. Let us know your thoughts on the alleged dates above. Have you heard any information on this too?

Lets hope it fixes the stuttering playback when connected via USB. Very annoying…

Looking forward to this. I don't seam to use as many apps on the iPad as I do my iPhone 4 so folders etc are not a big deal for me, but as the iPad hardly leaves the house and spends most of it's time as a reference or notes tool (when not playing games and reading books of course) the ability to print straight to my WiFi networked printer will be a huge benefit.

I’m going with my iTunes scheduled next update which says 15th november. But possibly apple may push it earlier. At the end of the day being an iPhone 4 user. There’s not a huge amount to be bothered about. But hope you iPad users get it as soon as possible because you’ve bern missing out.

Steve, what "iTunes scheduled date" are you talking about?
Are you referring to the statement in your iTunes that says "iTunes will automatically check for an update again on mm/dd/yyyy"?
